WHAT IS THE MULTIMEDIA CLUB
"Creativity is intelligence having FUN" Albert Einstein. The Multimedia club is composed of SCA residents who share common interests in the multimedia fields of video, sound, images, data and /or text. Many have worked in the television and movie industry but we welcome everyone to learn and participate.
We foster fun and creativity while learning hands-on video production, streaming, audio/music editing, graphics, images, AI, digital creation and more. Share phone and video skills with fellow enthusiasts while exploring on discovery trips for club and community projects. Connecting with others in a supportive environment helps us stay mentally active while honing new skills.
Members work together to educate, inspire, and train. At the same time we have FUN creating projects that we can share with our families, friends and audiences on line and streaming.
What Can You Do At The Multimedia Club.
Produce movies, YouTube videos, Podcasts, creates graphics, teach, write scripts for skits and shorts, share skills, make videos for SCA Clubs, help on the social and marketing committees. This club needs people with many different backgrounds and talents. Not all members have mastered technology. In fact most are constantly learning which is great for our mental health.
Why should I join?
- Educational workshops - AI for writers, music and art and videos and making day to day tasks simpler
- Learn new skills - sets, lighting, camera, audio, make up, scripts, directing, producing, organizing, on line classes
- Visits to interesting spots in the valley- We feature a number of things to do and places to go on our YouTube channels
- Social connections - over 100 members and growing, interesting interviews with people living and working in Las Vegas
- Be a liaison to your other clubs, charity organizations and groups to assist them
- Dues are currently $15 a year
